AquaBlueprint
Model and size a recirculating aquaculture system, then take away a design report summary and a bill of materials.
AquaBlueprint is a design platform built by LoTech Aquaculture to make aquaculture system planning more accessible, faster and better grounded in the science.
The platform lets you model and size recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) using a mass balance approach, with species-specific parameters and real-time calculations guiding the design as you work.
Whether you are a small-scale producer, a researcher, an educator or a consultant, AquaBlueprint takes the laborious technical work out of sizing a system. It produces a design report summary and a bill of materials, and you can bring in expert help from there if you want it.
The goal is to widen access to aquaculture knowledge and design tools, so more people can build sustainable, productive systems suited to their own context.

Where the platform is heading
Planned developments include:
- Integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) support
- Ecosystem-based modelling
- Shared resources between users
- Community collaboration tools
AquaBlueprint is a design aid. It supports your decisions, it does not replace professional advice where your project requires it.
